How do like my Holland layering experiments so far? Well, I hope you do like them, because today there’s another post!
Today I want to show you this beautiful purple nail polish called Dutch ‘ya just love OPI?. It is medium purple, a bit dusty, and it has the most awesome golden shimmer! If you were ever doubting to buy a purple, doubt no more and buy this one. Seriously – me, the non-purple living gal tells you to just go and get it! 2 coats.
Because of the great golden shimmer I decided to layer essie As Gold As It Gets over it. I like the golden flakes over the golden shimmer, it enhances the effect of Dutch ‘ya just love OPI?. Very elegant – it reminds me of ballroom dancing gowns and ballroom dancing somehow.
The second color I have for you today is Gouda Gouda Two Shoes. I’m not sure if that is more of a brown or more of a mauve/pink color. In the end I decided it was a brown with a hint of pink. Not really my kind of color, but office safe and appropriate. And within the office save colors, this one might actually be the ‘funky’ version. 2 coats.
As Gouda Gouda Two Shoes is such a safe color, I decided to over the top with layering and picked up my bottle of nail-venturous Dash of Princess.
I think Dash Of Princess makes Gouda Gouda Two Shoes so happy and fun! I really like the pink, purple and white hex glitters. I’ll have to layer this over something dark still and see how that looks. Well, one thing I can tell you for sure, this won’t be my only polish from nail-venturous for long!
