I have no idea why I have not shown you those pictures before. Sometimes I envy goldfish for their great memory.
I also wish the title of this post would properly rhyme. I’m working on my skills…
As underwear, I chose Zoya Raven. Raven is a jetblack (or black as a crow….) polish with some subtle green and red sparks. You can’t really see those in regular daylight, so here is a picture in artificial light – I used two coats of Raven.
As I managed to get my hands on a couple of bottles of the goodversion of BeYu 209, I had to layer it over Raven!

BeYu is still more red-toned than the ominous Clarins 230, but it is also really pretty. I think it looks super classy and vampy over black! On the last picture I managed to capture the colour shift the best. I like it; do you?

You should try layering it over a blue! The colours change completely. It gets purple instead of red. Still having the shifts though
I tried it once over dark blue (OPI roadhouse blues), but I think I prefer it over black. It looks more deep to me
Have you tried layering it over green yet? That’s also fun
