Catrice TE Coolibri

Another Catrice Trend Edition for this summer! Catrice surprises me by the cute bottle designs lately. Even though I like my polishes all matchy-matchy, the colourful flowers on the bottle caps appeal to the little girl in me.

The Coolibri TE, much hyped by German and Austrian beauty bloggers, was released somewhere last week here in Vienna, and when I came to the display, most of it was already gone. I managed to get a bottle of each color, but I had to pass on the lipglosses and eyeshadows because there were none left. Good for my wallet!

I decided to swatch the polishes all the same: 2 coats each, regardless of VNL or not.

Twist of Lemon: that’s how I like my Aperol Spritz, with a twist of lemon. You all know I love yellow, so this one was not a disappointment, although it looks a lot like OPI Lemonade stand by your man, so it didn’t sweep me off my feet. As you can see, it’s a bit on the sheer side.

Virgin Forest is a gorgeous forest green. Even though it looks as if it will apply streaky, it doesn’t. Surprisingly awesome quality for Catrice, and definitely my favourite of the bunch.

The blue in this collection was impossible to photograph. Birds flying high is a tealish blue, super bright, and somewhat between my two pictures.

The orange polish, Exotica, is super vibrant and one of those orangesfor summer. Think essie braziliant.

Abloom is a red-toned vibrant creme pink. It reminds me a lot of my favourite Inglot pink, no 869. It also freaks out my camera a bit; the picture is a tad too red.

Did you get anything from this collection? Do you like it?

  1. I really hope I can find it, it was already spotted in some bigger cities. I’d really want the eyeshadow pencils!
