I had never worn Nails Inc. Blenheim Terrace although I had it in my stash for about a year – so when I felt the need for something soft and less in-your-face, Blenheim Terrace was a great alternative. The color itself is somewhat fleshy and rosé, but it has a nice shimmer to it. The shimmer makes the color a bit cooler, as it is blue and silver (you can see that best on the pic made with flash below). I used two coats and I have to say that I was amazed by how easily it applied.
I think it’s a bit too close to my skin color, so after wearing it once, I decided to let it go. It has since found a new owner who seems to be head over heels for it, but also, this girl has a skin tone lighter than mine, so it fits perfectly to her!

As the color wasn’t exactly my thing, I decided to layer China Glaze Fireside Glow over it. Fireside Glow was one of the polishes China Glaze releases in winter, if I’m not completely mistaken. I have been on a glitter spree lately, so this was just what I needed. The mix of golden, orange and rose glitter fitted perfectly to Nails Inc. Blenheim Terrace too. I guess one can wear Fireside Glow by itself as well, but I prefer it layered.

Which color do you pick when you need a break from bright colors?
