White and Grey SPAM

Today I have another spam post for you! This time it’s white and grey polishes I chose to spam you with!

First up is Lucerne-tainly look marvelous by OPI. I have compared it to other greys here already. This is two coats. (Still one of my favorite charcoal greys, I get so many compliments wearing it!)

Next up is OPI Play the Peonies. It is one of those colors I really really wanted to love, but it just didn’t happen. It seems that those whites with just a hint of pink look horrible on me. Plus the slight brushstrokes and I’m running for the door. What a pity though. 2 coats.

Another grey OPI polish: Skull and Glossbones. I was on the fence about it when I got the mini set, but then I warmed up to it and the mini set wasn’t enough, so I got the normal sized bottle and I love it! It is so much easier to apply this polish with a normal brush and not a mini feather duster. 2 coats, and look how glossy it dries! What a beautiful grey.

OPI Suzie takes the wheel was part of the Touring America Collection. I thought that it would be something I could wear to work etc, but it is too green. I prefer Skull and Glossbones, but nevertheless, a pretty grey with a (visible) hint of green. This was three thin coats.

Sephora by OPI  A color that can’t be tamed is a great shimmery, almost metallic looking polish, with a color somewhat between sea foam green and grey with a hint of gold glow. I find it very hard to describe, but it is a fancier nude, let’s stick with that! It’s one of my go-to colors when I want something nice, but not too exciting. 3 coats, and I took the last picture after a longer wear-time, so please excuse the gaps!

OPI My private Jet is, in the holographic version, most probably one of the most hyped polishes OPI ever produced. I prefer the version readily available in retail, which has some sparse holographic glitter here and there. The color itself is s very dark brown, almost black, which makes it easy for me to wear, because if it was visibly brown, I’d not be a fan, as you know! I actually bought this polish in the clearance bin on Sydney airport, and my mum picked it for me. This was before I developed my second personality as being a creep/nail polish hoarder, which makes it more surprising that my second OPI bottle ever was this one. Anyhow, I love how glossy it dries and that it isn’t black, but dark, and has this beautiful glitter in it. 2 coats of the jet I will never own.
