How I wore it: The blue to pink metallic gradient

I have to admit it, ever since I tried out the gradient tutorial from The Nailasaurus, I have been addicted to gradients. They all look awesome if you ask me, no matter if it’s a subtle one or one with more colors than two – I’m a happy gradient-a.

Today I am showing you one I made with Sephora Shrim Cocktail, a very sweet metallic pink, and H&M Deep Deep Water, which is a metallic cobalt blue. I applied one coat of Shrimp Cocktail and after that dried I sponged the gradient on with Shrimp Cocktail and Deep Deep Water.

It was really an easy one, and while I tried out more gradients this summer, there is one thing I learned: it doesn’t work using a grey creme and a dark, vampy shimmer. Looks horrible.

I wore the whole thing with a blue-purple pullover from Etam, which has a super cute bow tie in the back. The pullover is also from Paris, where I bought it during sale. It was hard to believe that noone else had taken it before me – it’s super soft and cute. Yeah, I kinda like it.
