I decided to introduce a Sunday Spam category on my blog for all those poor unposted pictures!
Sometimes, I swatch something and forget to post about it, and then later I don’t really remember what I wanted to write, but I don’t want to not post it… anyhow, the solution to my dilemma is the Sunday Spam.
OPI Aphrodite’s Pink Nightie. This is old! It’s from the Greek Isles Collection, which was released in 2004 (at least that’s what the internet says). Even though this has a frosty finish, I love love love it. It’s just one of those inexplicable things in live, like you’d say you’d never go out with this boy and in the end he becomes your husband – that’s Aphrodite’s Pink Nightie to me. (2 coats)
SOPI Set the mood – a shimmery polish somewhere between mauve and pink, with a nice golden glow to it. Horrible picture, but like I said, some of the pics are old. 3 coats.
Undeniably one of my favourites is OPI Teenage Dream. It is what it promises to be, glittery, pink, amazing – like a pink fluffy tutu met a disco ball. Unfortunately, if I wear it as a full mani, it chips within hours. 3 coats.
Lucky Lucky Lavender, also OPI, was a present. It isn’t relevant to the polish itself, but it explains why Lucky Lucky Lavender would have to be very ugly for me not to like it. I would have liked it anyhow though – how could one not love this soft pastel lavender? 2 coats.
Slowly we’ll go a bit darker, color wise – with OPI My big break. I thought that I would fall head over heels for this, but I didn’t. The silver shimmer with the tiny blue specks makes this polish look washed out on me. All in all this was too grandma for my taste. 2 coats.
A bit better was OPI Diva of Geneva. It’s one of the favourite colors of my friend and, by now, fellow nail polish addict, K. (ha, let’s see if you really read my blog!
), and I must agree that it is a very elegant berry color with shimmer. Like it, but personally, I prefer the color below! 2 coats.
OPI Bogota Blackberry. I knew that I needed a full sized bottle of this ever since I first used it on my nails. To me, this is a perfect vampy red – shimmery, super glossy, and not too bright, but muted. In short, it has all the qualities I require of a vampy red! 2 coats, and I will still be faithfull to my other reds.
OPI No Spain No Gain. I think this was a mis-buy. I think the name is so funny, and then what can go wrong with a red-based purple creme? Everything. It looks more red than purple on me because of my skin tone, and that totally kills it. Not happy! 2 coats.
Happy Sunday! Enjoy your weekend!

Woah.. der Teenage Dream ist ja wirklich ein Traum
