How I wore it: KIKO 385 Pastel Blue (and a dip-dye dress)

Feeling blue? I hope not! Whenever I wear blue (which is somewhat every second day at least), I feel quite the opposite. Blue may be my favourite color to wear, but I don’t wear it on my (finger)nails too often.

KIKO 385 (Pastel Blue) however is such a vibrant blue creme, I couldn’t resist. You can see just how awesome it is becauses it really pops in these pictures! I have no idea why it is called pastel blue, as it is more vivid than most so-called neon blues.

I used two coats. Have I mentioned how easy KIKO polishes apply? And how quick they dry? I really really hope we get a KIKO store in Vienna soon, because I’m still completely smitten with all their polishes.

It was very sunny in beautiful Paris when we took these pictures. E told me not to look so stupid, but I can’t help it, especially when the sun was blinding me almost.

One thing that I absolutely adore about France is that the clouds are always exciting. You can’t really see it in these pictures, because there were hardly and that day, but if there are clouds, they are much more interesting than the ones that drift over Vienna.

The dress is made by my favourite tailor in Mumbai, India. He stiched it after a paper pattern from the magazine Burda, which I read frequently to get ideas and patterns from. I love sewing, but lately I barely have time.

Anyhow, this dress was made for me when I was heavier, so it fits loosely now, which makes it a very comfortable summer dress! I dipped the hem in some blue paint because I didn’t want a purely white dress anymore. I really like it this way, what do you think?
