Lizard Glitterati

I just got back from my ‘summer’ vacation – I spent two weeks in my India, this time I visited places in the south of India. I’ll show you holiday pictures if you want to see some? Let me know in the comments!

The temperature difference from India to Austria was something like 25 degrees Celcius less. Hence I felt like dressing completely different and also wearing different polish! I chose OPI Just spotted the Lizard, yet another Chanel Peridot Look-alike, which is a really pretty duochrome polish that shifts from gold to green. The color shift between these two colors makes Just spotted the Lizard a very autumn-y color for me, because it reminds me of the leaves changing color. I used two coats.

Also, yesterday I watched the new Spiderman finally, and the lizard is yucky! But I did like the movie. Just in case you didn’t know: Just spotted the Lizard is a polish from the OPI Spiderman Collection!
Recently I received some polishes from Jessica‘s Winter Collection, and the one I was most excited for was Glitterati. I expected it to be a covering glitter nail polish, maybe in a tinted base, but it turned out to be a rather sheer glitter topcoat. The color sift that is visible in the bottle barely shows on the nail. However, I must say I liked Glitterati because I don’t have any glitter topcoat like it. I can’t even pinpoint what color the glitter has, because it seems to change from brown to orange to green to musky gold – depending what you layer it over.
